Ó Profundidade das Riquezas, Tanto da Sabedoria Como do Conhecimento de Deus!
I. (Rom. 11:35) O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
II. (Rom. 11:34-36) For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
III. (Rom. 5: 6-8) 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Psalms 106:1)Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
IV. (2Peter 3:9)The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(Rom. 2:4)Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
(Ezek. 33:11)Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
(Prov. 13:10)The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
(2Peter 2:9)The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
(1John 3:20)For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
(Heb. 11:16)But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
