Most people would like to be richer than they are. We don't like struggling to make a living. There is no sin in being rich, although the Bible does warn us against the "love of money" (1 Timothy 6:10). The Bible also warns us of the dangers than accompany wealth.

Those who desire money, power and pleasure will stop at nothing to get what they want. An example is the story of Ahab and Naboth found in 1 Kings 21.
